When she is not in surgery as a full-time nurse, Katherine is working out of her studio space at the Circle City Industrial Complex. She has found more time and space to seriously focus on developing in her creative space. She has no formal training or education as an artist, but comes from four generations of innately talented and creative relatives. At 27 years old, she lives in central midwest, downtown Indianapolis, IN, and paints from her studio space. She has always been drawn to paint as a form of expression and is inspired by raw materials and the beauty of mother earth. Current themes she is working around are reconnecting to our roots and the simplistic beauty of everyday nature.
